Cristiano Ronaldo scored a stunning hat-trick for Portugal against Lithuania as they remain on course to qualify for Euro 2020.
Portugal beat Lithuania 6-0 at Estádio Algarve to move one step closer to Euro 2020 qualification with Ronaldo bagging three goals.
The 34-year-old opened his account on the night from the spot, converting a penalty in the seventh minute.
He then doubled his goal tally in sublime fashion. The Juventus forward hit a long-range strike to make the score 2-0.
Ronaldo then completed his hat-trick in the 65th minute as he calmly scored from inside the box.
Pizzi, Gonçalo Paciência and Bernado Silva also got on the scoresheet.
Ronaldo has now scored 30+ goals for 13 years in a row. He also improves his international goal tally to 98 goals.
He’s just nine goals away from men’s international record holder Ali Daei, whose scored 109 goals in 149 games for Iran.
Portugal face Luxembourg on Sunday, where Ronaldo has the chance to score his 100th international goal. Victory would also confirm their place at Euro 2020.
