After terminating the contract of the team’s head coach, B. Satatianathan with immediate effect, the Selangor Football Association (FAS) appointed the club’s Technical Director, Michael Feichtenbeiner as the temporary operator until a new coach is appointed. This was announced by FAS on the team’s official social media today in conjunction with the announcement of the termination of the B.Satianathan contract after the Selangor team performed less encouraging action during the big loss at the hands of Johor Darul Ta’zim (JDT) last Saturday.

Apart from holding the position of Technical Director, Michael Feichtenbeiner was also given the task of being the head coach for the Selangor 2 squad that played in the Premier League.

Under his guidance, there are several young players who have emerged and have the potential to become Selangor’s best players including striker, Danial Asri who has scored 5 goals in the Premier League so far. Michael will guide Selangor to face the remaining three Super League matches and most likely Selangor’s involvement in the Malaysia Cup competition this season.
