Coach Tomas Trucha claimed that the Kedah strikeforce of Tchetche Kipre, Kpah Sherman and Rabih Ataya is far more dangerous than Johor Darul Ta’zim’s (JDT). He observed that following a 1-1 draw with Kedah at City Stadium on Friday.
“I think defensively we’re okay but Kedah did a good job. Kipre, Sherman and Ataya were always pressing us, and they looked even more dangerous than players from JDT.said trucha.
Heavy rain in the late afternoon caused puddles of water at the City Stadium pitch, dampening Penang or Kedah’s style of play. Trucha said for the Penang team it was more about fitness than playing style.
Kedah’s Singaporean coach Aidil Sharin Sahak said his team’s performance was okay.
