Jazeman teams up again with Sean for Monza
Quick adaptation and tyre management will be the key to a successful outing for Jazeman Jaafar as he races for the first time in two years at the Four Hours of Monza in Italy this weekend.
Jazeman and his Indonesian partner Sean Gelael will pilot an Oreca 07 LMP2 prepped by UK-based outfit Jota Sport – the same team that Jazeman had raced for in the 2018 World Endurance Championship.
A one day test will be held tomorrow before the start of the Four Hours of Monza race weekend.
“The Covid-19 pandemic wiped out my plans for last season. So, I am very happy to get this opportunity, thanks to our sponsors and the team for getting us the slot,” said Jazeman.
“I spent the last three weeks working hard on my fitness as well as doing a lot of work on the simulator. However, you still can’t beat the real thing, so I am looking forward to testing on Thursday.
